/admin/blog is the review queue for the Dispatch. Nothing published itself.
The queue
Two lists. Needs review carries everything waiting on you: newly submitted articles and ones you previously sent back that have been resubmitted. It has a count badge, so you can see the backlog without opening the page.
Recently reviewed shows the last thirty days, so you can find something you handled last week.
Reviewing
Open an article and you get the full rendered preview exactly as a reader would see it, plus a sidebar with the author, when it was submitted, its reading time, its tags and any previous review note.
Three decisions:

Write a useful note
For both request changes and reject, your note is shown to the author inline on their own page and included in their email. It is the only feedback they get. "Needs work" wastes a round trip; "the second and third sections repeat each other, and the quote in paragraph four needs a source" gets a fixed article back.
Requesting changes versus rejecting
Request changes when you expect a better version. Reject when the piece is not right for the Dispatch at all. Rejection is not deletion: the article still exists, and the author can be told a different angle would be welcome.
Deleting
Admin only. Rarely necessary, since rejecting already keeps a piece off the public site.
Checking after publishing
Look at /blog and at the article's own page after approving. The Dispatch index shows
the newest post prominently, so a bad cover image or a missing subtitle is immediately
visible to everyone.
