Check-in day

The QR code on your status page, and what to bring to the desk.

On conference day the desk needs to mark you present. The fastest way is the QR code on your own status page.

Getting your QR code

It appears on your status page only once your status is Confirmed. If you are still on Payment sent, the code is not there yet, because you are not paid up.

Tip

Take a screenshot of the QR code the night before, or save your status link to your home screen. Conference venue wifi is not something to rely on at eight in the morning.

At the desk

Show the code. A staff member scans it, which opens your record on their side, and they confirm the check-in. It takes a few seconds.

If your phone is dead or the code will not scan, staff can find you by name or email from the check-in list instead. Bring some form of ID.

What staff see

Your name, institution, committee and portfolio, whether you are a DTU student, whether you asked for accommodation, and your payment state. They also see a clear warning if you are not confirmed, so arriving unpaid is visible and will be dealt with at the desk.

Checking in twice

Not a problem. Scanning the same code again does not create a second check-in, and a staff member can undo a check-in if it was recorded against the wrong person.

If you are not confirmed

You can still be checked in, but staff will see the warning and will normally want the payment resolved first. If you paid by UPI and it was never marked received, bring your transaction reference.
